Date Night in a Jar

Woop woop!! Billy and I celebrated our third anniversary today and I decided to make him a little gift. I had seen this Date Night in a Jar idea on a few blogs, Life in the Green House and Blissfully Ever After, and loved it! I decided Billy and I needed one of our own.

Here is how I made my jar : )

You will need: Mason jar, jumbo popsicle sticks, paint, brushes, ribbon and scrapbook paper.

As usual I chose pink, gray and white : ) Each color represents a different type of date.
White: $ Stay at Home Dates
Pink: $$ Night out on the Town Dates
Gray: $$$ Dates that need to be planned ahead
Here is a list of some ideas I used. (Yes, a lot of them include drinking haha)
White – $ Stay at Home

He cooks her choice

After printing dates on labels, cut small enough to fit on the popsicle sticks.
Stick your labels on the correct popsicle sticks. I ended up doing 12 gray dates, 20 pink and 20 white.
I stuck all the popsicle sticks inside and tied a cute ribbon around the top : )
Don’t mind the HIDEOUS writing on my label haha, but this is the label on the top lid.
Once Demi is born and I am done breastfeeding,  we are definitely doing this first!!
Happy Daddy with his date jar : )
We can’t wait to use our date jar! We figure it will take 2-3 years to get through 52 dates considering we will have 3 kids soon and will get preggo again! I will try and update how well it’s working and what dates were a hit.Much love : )
